Here is my IKEA Rast reveal...I finished it a couple of days ago and I'm loving IT.
I now have tons of storage...9 draws.
I decided to use a dark stain on the outside box...and a simple white paint on the draw fronts.
...I filled in the original draw pull holes...there were two on each drawer...because I knew I wanted to use a different IKEA draw pull...
The silver draw pulls are from the IKEA kitchen collection and they were just $2.99 for two.
I left the bottom draws without pulls...I thought it may look too much like office furniture if I added pulls to the bottom draw.
...this is what it looks like when you put it together out the box.
...you know I couldn't leave it like that...
I mixed a couple of colors of leftover stain to come up with this color.
I used oops paint to paint the draw fronts.... .50 cents.
...and viola
