...we headed downtown to the South Street Seaport...haven't been there in years...it's a pretty cool place to hang out if you are in NYC...free and lots of restaurants selling drinks in plastic cups for just $5.00...lots of lounge chairs, food court, outdoor seating...good times...sometimes it's fun to feel like a tourist in your own city.

 I picked up a pair of $3.99 sunglass from Forever 21

 Mini decided it was a good time to get her ears pierced a second time...

 Ouch!

 I restrained myself...only because my bedroom may soon look like this table...

 We hit up a street fair...you can't walk 10 blocks in NYC and not hit a street fair...

 Mini bought a book bag for school...

 ...Hats, 2 for 10...gotta love a street vendor...deals, deals, deals.

 ...the organized kitchen image in a post below, inspired me to give my kitchen a clean sweep...so I emptied the shelfs, wiped all the chalkboards and now I have a clean slate...

 ...after all that, I deserved a treat...so I made chocolate chip cookies...

 ...of all the recipes i've tried, this one on the back of the Trader Joe's chocolate chip bag is the best...give it a try.
