...we had to find somewhere to stay while I'll floors dried...
...ended up in Manhattan...and the weather became hotter than hell...
...on a good note...we ate the most amazing red velvet whoopie pies here...
...while out of our home...Mini's grandmother died...services were attended...our home is still a wreck...and you all already know I don't function well when my home is in total chaos...but, I put my big girl panties on and did what was needed...sigh.
...after all of that, finally beautiful new floors...sigh.
This was supposed to be easy...I had it all planned.

Sorry to hear about the loss. Monkey wrenches in the plans are always unexpected, but I'm sure you handled like only you can.

DeleteI'm sorry to hear that bout Mini's grandma. It looks like some things are in transition for the better though. I totally understand that "home in chaos" thing, but hello new floors!?

ReplyDeleteThe floors turned out nice, we had the same experience last when we re-finished them, everything planned but it took forever -- We spent nights in hotels and at my sisters, all the stress was worth it now when I look back.
Whew...so you know...it is not fun being put out of your home...it was crazy...100 degrees...walking around Manhattan like a homeless person...I feel their pain...It's all good now...pics to follow.
