...in heavy rotation on the ipod this week...

by - October 05, 2011

I don't know about you, but I can get a song stuck in my head...and it becomes my motivation...gives me energy to focus and get things done...this is my song this week.  I may have shared it on the blog before...It moves me that much...and she's coming to NYC on October 24th, BBKings Blues Club.  One of the best places to see a show in NYC if you ask me...It's intimate...but not too small and they serve food...bar food...nothing fancy...I saw Amel Larrieux there...so cool.

...I love the video too.  Watching her chase her childhood dream...  As long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a designer...and make stuff...and sell it...I wanted to write too...books...yep. What did you want to be when you were a kid?

  5. Sandra, wow...I never really wanted to do anything else...My Mini is the same way...every now and then I test her and ask, "what do you want to be when you grow up?" She always answers, a nurse. UGH! that's me, as mom imagining her going into the hospital to work everyday...when she has spent her entire life going back and forth to the hospital...but, I promise not to interfere...It's her dream...not mine...and that's o.k. with me.
