Yes, yes y'all...to the beat y'all
My dresser search is O.V.E.R!
I told you guys that I would find my dresser last week...and I did. Manifest.
It is just what I was looking for...solid wood with tons of feminine details...just look at all the curves.
I wood veneer is really in bad shape...sad face. I love it so much...just look at how it makes that wonderful striped pattern...
...look at her legs...I love dressers that sit on legs...more room for storage.
I had to have it after seeing the divided top drawer. A major opportunity for me to get organized...
...I really wanted to keep the finish on the dresser as is...but, it had too many dents and scratches...
...so out came the spackle and spray paint...I used the leftover paint from my side table make-over...
I re-used the handles, because I love them...and they didn't need any work...
...another example of how beautiful and clean the right, thrifted furniture can be...
So that's the before....
...and this is the After...
...Like I said, I just could not cover up the beautiful wood finish...so, I settled on painting just painting out the front of the drawers...
I left the wood veneer untouched on the top drawer too...deciding to just paint around the knobs...
I'm in love...
Can a DIY project really make me feel like this? Yes it can and it does... After looking, and looking, and being inspired by other rooms and dressers, finally I have my own...whew, "I told ya'll I was gonna bump like this..." sing Kelly.

Hi Sandra,
DeleteCan you believe the price and the way it turned out...I could easily sell it for $600.00 or more here in NYC...sigh. I need a store...
A store...You need a warehouse...Can you see it? You can work right from your warehouse, sell your flips and others.
