It's what's for dinner...
...it's been a while since I did a food post...so here goes. Last night we made one of our favorite quick, weeknight meals...
Turkey Burgers and French Fries...all ingredients compliments of Trader Joe's Supermarket...if you follow this blog you already know I only shop at Trader Joe's...they sell quality food (no preservatives, artificial ingredients, etc.) at reasonable prices. I also like that they never run sales...if you paid $1.99 for bread last week, you'll pay $1.99 for bread this week...It really makes it easy to keep track of your food budget.
colby jack cheese, spinach, red onions...yum.
we use the Naan (a traditional indian bread) as a bun...yum.
It sells for just $1.99 for 4 huge pieces...and no artificial ingredients...
...they sell freshly made turkey patties...but, I really like their frozen patties...4 burgers for $2.99
...build your sandwich by cutting the naan bread in half and build ingredients...plus a little mustard and ketchup...we also added sautéed mushrooms......a package of organic sliced mushrooms are just $1.99 at Trader Joe's...all day everyday...I eat them as a snack...
...and don't forget the fries...YUMMY! We cook them in the oven with no oil and they come out crispy....
and that's what was had for dinner last night...
