ABC Carpet and Home African Fabric Pillows

I LOVE it! A pillow like this would easily cost $275.00 in one of my favorite stores, ABC Carpet and Home. If you are ever in NYC...this store is a must see...see it before Central Park...7 or 8 floors of every style and period of furniture you can imagine...It's like a design blog come to life...You probably won't be able to buy anything there...too expensive...but I promise you will be inspired.

I have had this fabric as long as I've had Mini...smile. It's been framed, thrown over things and now it's a pillow. I love when I can repurpose things...I didn't cut it so it will probably go into a frame again when I get tired of the pillow...but, that won't be for a long, long time...I just love it.

I was inspired by the pillow I saw on the couch in the video below...I saw it and thought, "hum...I have an old piece of African fabric just like that." ...and I was off sewing...that's how it works sometimes...think it, do it. ...and other times you think it, think it, think it...well, you get the idea...
