HomeGoods and My Mini Entryway Make-Over

by - December 07, 2011

...I posted pics of my entryway earlier this week...asking you guys for ideas on how to spruce it up...and you gave me a lot of great ideas...I may be able to hold out until the spring to work on that update after visiting HomeGoods yesterday.  I found this wonderful vinyl sticker...Yes, a sticker...no glue, tape or paste...and you can take it down and move it around...love that...You know my decor needs to be flexible...and it cost just $7.99...they had tons and bigger ones...in a variety of prints...If you don't live near a HomeGoods you can order directly from the company online.  Check it out.

...the switch plate cover is handmade...I picked it up years ago when I was doing craft shows...Craft shows are the best places to find unique one of a kind items at reasonable prices...there or Etsy.

The hall is so small it was hard to hang anything on the walls that wouldn't get knocked off when people went in and out of the apartment...This sticker is the perfect solution...art that can't be knocked down...I guess you can call that a manifestation...I asked you guys for a solution and I got one...I'm happy...my entry is now a better reflection of me and my style...and I can so see this sticker hanging in my bathroom this spring when I'm done with that make-over...

  1. It's really nice...I hope they have them...they had lots in my store...this one is a nice size for my hall...but they had really large ones that I would love to have if I had room for it...let me know if it works out...

  2. I live in HomeGoods, they finally have one in NYC, before I had to go out of the borough to find one.

I love the look the way it looks, can't wait to see how you finish it. : )

  3. Heart the vinyl sticker idea! We have a non-existent entryway (just enough space to open the door) but heading up the stairwell might be cool. Can't knock it down!
