Sneak Peek...
I must create...You may remember when I purchased 10 yards of this batik cotton a few weeks ago...Well, I woke up this morning itching to create something with it...Mini is graduating in a couple weeks (yeah...school is still in session in NYC...the kids had to make-up for their snow days) and her school throws an awards dinner at very nice catering hall on Long Island...and I just may wear this...
I free-styled...no pattern needed...just measurements.
Pockets, pockets, pockets...anything I make nowadays must have pockets...
my sewing machine was not in the mood this morning...UGH!
I love how it turned out...light and flowie...is that a word?
You may also notice that I finally got my gallery wall up...well almost. More on that next week.
kimono styles inspire me...
I just have the finishing to do...hems and such...I may put together a nice broach out of the left over scraps of fabric.
