This picture makes me smile...just thinking that soon my Mini and her cousins will be running around the city dressed like this...smile. Such a New York look.
Love, love, love this look. I'll show it to Mini when she wakes up to get her opinion...My guess is, she won't like it...or she'll take it apart and wear pieces...but not all together...smile.
It's no longer playing on HGTV...but I can watch it anytime I want online...so why am I paying for cable?
...Last weekend I headed out with my cousin to find a dresser for her bedroom...we hit a couple of spots and here is what I loved...but, did not buy.
$7.99 each...I wanted to buy them...but, I couldn't think of where to put them...
$19.99...Loved the green color and would love to change the handle...but, really...I have no place to put it.
$249.00...this was the most beautiful piece of furniture I've seen in a long time...the flash on my camera ruined the shot...all the panels across the front were carved wood...with a solid black slate top...Gorg! But not in the budget.
$229.00 this dresser was perfection. It had the perfect soft blue painted finish.
$329.00 ...This is the exact dresser and side tables I've been searching for my bedroom. Sigh...for some reason the furniture in this Salvation Army is not 50% off...so I didn't buy it. Hmp.
$49.00...Loved these nesting tables...
$50.00 each...Perfection...Again, where would I put them? You know I never saw a chair I didn't want to take home...
$30.00...this was a 1950 metal and formica bar cart...I heart it...I may have to go back and get it...maybe.
$29.00...Okay, the best deal of the day...I didn't buy it...sigh.
$100.00 for both pieces...Well, maybe this was the best buy of the day...but, I don't have an office and I just bought those cheapie shelving units from target for my bedroom...sigh. LUV! I'll show you what I did buy tomorrow...
I came across this lighting image and thought, wow...this is pretty cool and easy to do with an Ikea Cord Kit. Big style on a low budget...

My latest obsession, JUJU hats...well, its not actually a new obsession, I have been lusting after one for years...they are always too expensive...and you know me...I have this wonderful dream that I will run across one in a thrift store...dusty...sitting in a corner with everyone staring at it, thinking what the heck is that, a dust mop? A girl can dream.
JUJU hats, a ceremonial headdress worn by the men of Cameroon, Africa.
I love the idea for their nursery. I think it would be a little better suited for a kid aged 5-13...A baby really doesn't understand.
