...this is where the poster I ordered a few posts back from etsy landed...over the mantel with a couple of old family photos, my money frog, on the right is a statue that I purchased at the flea market for $8.00 bucks...the one on the left is from my Aunt...took me a couple of years of nagging to get that one...I heart it...
...makes me want to paint this weekend...have not painted since new years...what a cool and inexpensive way to add a little interest to a bland room...collect glass in a single color...the trick here is to get different shapes and sizes and display them in one area of your room, not all over the room...try it.

Liya Kebede (left)...She'll be playing Somalian model Waris Dirie (right), who was the face of Chanel Allure perfume and appeared in the Pirelli calendar twice.The movie, Desert Flower, is based on Waris' autobiography of the same name which chronicles her childhood in the Somali desert, her entrance into modeling, and her role as a United Nations spokeswoman against circumcision.
Waris most recently made headlines for a brief disappearance in March 2007. Another fun fact: She's Iman's cousin.

...saw a project on a blog that I would like to try and that means taking a trip to Target...yipee
2. Buy Drano
...bathroom tub is stopped up...ugh!
3. Stop by Home Depot
...would like to pick up a piece of plywood to make some sort of head board for my bedroom...you know it'll be funky.
4. Visit the supermarket...not my favorite chore...unless it's Trader Joe's
...sister is coming over for the weekend with the kids and I guess it would be nice if there were some food in the house...lol...
5. Pick up money order for car insurance payment before they cancel...
