Brooklyn Flea Market
Last weekend a new flea market opened in NYC; Actually, it's in Fort Green, Brooklyn. I had to check it out to see if it's the right place to get a space to sell my line of products or just make contacts with other designers or store owners who may be interested in carrying my line...The flea market is cool and free to enter, that's always a plus...below are photos of some of the items I found interesting...I didn't hang around too long...it was so cold I ended up in a little coffee shop drinking coffee and eating cake...Better luck next week...Al Roker promises spring like temperatures in the 70's this weekend...and I'll be baby free...we'll she's not exactly a baby but you mom's know what I mean....Go to for more info http://www.news-antique.com/?id=783984&keys=Brooklyn-Flea-Market-Weekly
Location: Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School, Lafayette Ave. btw. Clermont & Vanderbilt Ave., Fort Greene, Brooklyn: 176 Lafayette Ave.
Only in New York...mink cape and cargo pants at a flea market.
A vender selling her folk art paintings...love it.
These are great for a kids room...I think they were $16.00 bucks each and two for $30.00...not bad...
My favorite find of the day...a reupholstered chair with matching pillows...the price was pretty steep...$500.00 bucks...
This was the only vendor making money...the food line...I hope it gets better for the vendors when the weather warms up.
