...trying to decided which movie to see tonight...date night.

...I'd like to see it, but I heard the violence, sex and poverty was pretty graphic...I'm not in the mood...

...not interested in seeing Clint Eastwood save the day...again.

...would love to see it, but I think it may hit home a little too hard for the both of us...we don't need to think about all that tonight...

...Ah, his choice...I don't have to tell you that, "I'm just not that into it"...Next!

...hum, NYC's 1990's rap scene...lived it...not interested in seeing it on the big screen...that's why I have cable.

...hum, could work, lots of sex and moral dilemma's...

...I really want to see this movie, but don't think the date is up to watching a movie about the first openly gay politician...

...I don't know why, but I'm drawn to the period, costumed movies...it will have to wait until later...not a good date night choice...

So the winner is...

...come on, what's not to like?...it takes place in a mall, Kevin James is funny as hell, and I don't have to think about anything...maybe I could actually make-out like a teenager in the back of the theater and I wouldn't miss a thing...WINNER...only problem, Mini really wants to see this movie too...oh well, that's why we have cable...

  1. ...and that is exactly why date night is always so hard, you can't really pick a chick-flick, so you must come together watch something like Mall Cop. Well, whatever you do, you'll be together (sans child) and that will be fab!

  2. Man, I'm glad you didn't see Rev. Road. It's getting rave reviews, but I was positively BORED. It had about 332 endings and LOTS of knock down drag out arguing.

  3. i saw slumdog millionaire while in atlanta for the new year. it was a'ight. it was funny at times, which is always a good thing for me.

i'd said i didn't really wanna see the notorious BIG movie for reasons similar to what you said. plus, i'm a bit conspiratorial minded and have issue with the way he died. i'm not interested in a recounting of his life, but i'd be all for one that talks about his death. with only the facts.

i hadn't even heard of many of these.
