Good Monday Morning...Waiting for the storm pass...
...So...as I sit here in NYC waiting for hurricane Sandy to come thru and put the city under water...sigh.
The subway is closed down...have you ever? No. I have lived here all my life and the subway has only been closed once before...even the airports are closed...the stock exchange is closed...what the heck are they expecting...brace yourself...and let's look at pretty images...you know, the type of places where it would be so lovely to stay while waiting for the storm to pass...this storm or the storm of life... and don't worry this storm will pass...like most storms in life.
I really, really, really want this lamp shade...Note to self...pay attention to lampshades while thrifting.

...if you must go out and I understand some people must go out...you can still look stylish...
OM...this is everything I want my kitchen to be...sigh. A lamp on the counter...wait a minute...I can do that...smile.
Isn't this a cool pic...Mini and I will probably go through this many cups of coffee and tea before tuesday...the expected end of this storm...

I didn't know it was supposed to rain today...those people kill me...lol.
