Video Tuesday, No time to work out?

by - April 24, 2012

Okay people, it's that time of year...you know, your checking the mirror for fat damage that was done to your body over the winter...smile.  Me too.  I'm thinking about joining the gym...more on that a little later in the post...Walking around IKEA is just not cutting it...So, I was lurking around the internet when I came across this wonderful site, LUVBEINNATURAL...just what I was looking for.  Her videos are well made...clear and so easy to follow.  Check out this video to see how she puts together 7 days of  healthy lunches and dinners in 1.5 hours!  I wonder how many pounds I could drop if I did this for a week?  I'll test it out and let you know.  Please check out her workout videos...brilliant.  She shows you how to work out at home without equipment...sigh.  Before Mini, I was a gym rat...I went to the gym everyday afterwork...before classes...I love the feeling you get from working out hard...the sweat...yes.  Now, I can't get up the energy to even lift a weight...but, that's gonna change.
...as for joining the gym, NYC runs a network of public gyms located all over the city...some nicer than others...some with swimming pools, rock walls, you name it...You can join for just $150.00 for the year or $75.00 for 6 months (It's Co-ed)...and that gives you unlimited access to all the gyms and classes all over the city (and your kids will go for free, that means Mini can go to the gym for free, YES!)...there's one up the street from my home...ugh...I'm so lazy...I need to join, like today.  Until then, enjoy the this site.

Sometimes starting a workout at home works best for me until my body gets better. I'm going to do it once again. Thanks for the inspiration.

  3. Hi Jamie,

I know, right? It's like being on Jenny Craig without the cost...portion controlled prepared meals...why didn't I think of that?
