Another Easy D.I.Y.
...I like delicate jewelry...but, I love big, chunky jewelry...So when I saw this lovely chunky cross in Forever 21, I had to buy it...even though it was on a very small delicate chain...I fixed that by buying this long beaded necklace and after a little tweaking...made a brand-new piece...I heart it.
Here's how I did it...
old necklaces
Removed the silver ring that attached the cross to it's chain...
Placed the silver ring onto my bead chain...
Attached the cross to the silver ring...
Viola!
So, the next time you see a piece of jewelry that you like but is not quite right...just think about how you can tweak it to make it your own...
