Video Tuesday...Women are amazing.
...So often after hearing about another tragedy in the world, I think "what could I do?" More often than not the answer is, "nothing"...With limited resources, but unlimited talents women are doing amazing things to help the less fortunate people in the world...I am so inspired by this video...I just know something good will come of it...I just don't know what...hum?
This women wanted to raise money for kids who couldn't afford to go to school...So she decided to raise money by wearing the same dress for 365 days...and have people donate money via her blog...she raised over $77,000.00 dollars and has sent hundreds of children to school...One women, one idea...powerful.

that is an awesome idea. stories like that inspire me. i hope the right people will read this or will see it somewhere else & will inspire them to make a change.
ReplyDeleteI loved this project from the first day I heard about it. What a fabulous and fun idea. She is a very creative gal. And she made a difference, giving something back to the children.
ReplyDeleteAs a society we need to change our "wear it once and throw it away" thinking. What a waste of resources. Quality needs to supercede quantity. Then use those pieces to build upon.
